Firstly I wanted to say thank you for a truly awesome, life-transforming 6 weeks. Just back from an Alpine holiday where, of course, I took the opportunity to do some hill training.  You may recall that my motivation for coming to you was to stop injuring my calves when I went down hill.  After several months of training in POSE, I'm over the moon to say that I could tackle the steepest tracks without any problems at all.  in other words, you've cured me!

3 one to one sessions

" I had been enjoying running for four years and decided it was time to run a first time marathon. Before starting the build up I had read all the books and spoken to many ex-marathon runners and had been preparing by the book for three months, increasing my distance runs and also using speed work drills. As the final few weeks approached I attempted my longest mileage build up run and my left leg completely collapsed. I could not believe it! I was reduced to hobbling 4 weeks before the big day. I was distraught. I turned to the nearest support available which was the instructor in my gym but realised the advice went nowhere near what was required in the circumstances. So I turned to rollo who kindly took me on. He examined my running style and then my complaint and immediately prescribed an emergency set of stretches and exercises to address the issue. what effect did rollo have? When the injury occurred I genuinely felt that all my training had been wasted and I wouldn't be able to finish. I was distraught and angry. When I actually finished the marathon on the day within my target time having taken rollo's advice I realised how much I owed him. Literally, from a sense of miserable failure four weeks prior to beating my target time I realised that without him I would not have completed the event. I recommend this man to anyone who wants to achieve their goals. I will happily explain this to anyone who wants to hear." April 2008

Ran pain-free on Sunday with no issues for a 36min 10k split and concentrated on relaxing and quickening the turnover too.
 

(that’s the quickest I have done in a triathlon)
